Your awning is a sun shade...not a rain shade!

Your awning is an important and delicate part of your RV, trailer or motorhome to help protect you from the powerful sun rays. Unfortunately awnings are sometimes the important element that gets overlooked when it comes to RV maintenance.

It is important to use your awning in th emost proper ways to ensure it does not get damaged.

Make sure to never leave your awning out unattended in the rain or high winds. If the awning does get wet, make sure to give it time to dry before closing it up to ensure you don't get any mold build up.

High winds can cause a lot of damage including rips, bends and breaks. Make sure to watch the weather and close the awning should there by any high wind or heavy rain warnings.
