Job Purpose

  • Recreation vehicle technicians examine, troubleshoot and diagnose units needing repair and maintenance. They install, repair and maintain interior and exterior components on motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, truck campers, tent trailers and van conversions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing pre-delivery inspections.
  • Installation of accessories; troubleshooting; reading and writing repair orders.
  • Repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges and air conditioners; repairs to fiberglass, body and structural components; and the ability to install, repair, replace and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems.
  • May be required to install trailer and fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform maintenance and repairs on trailer frames, undercarriage and suspension.
  • Use testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturers' specifications, and Internet websites to assist in locating faults and performing repairs.
  • Use computerized and electronic devices for testing components.
  • Communicate with supervisors to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to move or assist moving units into service bays

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in relatable field, including renovations, handyman etc.
  • Mechanical, electrical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High levels of manual dexterity and balance while working off the ground.
  • Strong communication, organizational and learning skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of RV technical knowledge is an asset.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs

Working Conditions

  • The RV technician typically works in shop environment within the facility where proper protective equipment is required.
  • There is some risk of injury involved in working with power tools and near exhaust gases, although shop is well ventilated and well-lit. The shop can frequently be noisy or dirty.
  • May be required to lift and move items that weigh up to 50 lbs., and able to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, turn, stretch, kneel, crawl under trailers and work in uncomfortable positions.
  • May be challenged with a variety of tasks that are rarely repetitious in nature.
  • Some evening, weekend or holiday work, and overtime may be required.

Job Purpose

  • The Salesperson is responsible for all sales activities and duties from lead generation through to closing the sale. They will sell new and used units from various manufacturers. They will achieve sales goals, work with clients to understand their needs and meet their expectations and guide them towards the most appropriate product to complete the sale.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction by assisting customers with buying decisions; listen, ask questions, and follow up with all potential sales leads and going the extra mile to drive sales.
  • Help customers select the RV which best fits their needs and advise on towing requirements.
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used RVs.
  • Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals.
  • Continually prospect to build a data base of new and existing customers
  • Participate in ongoing product training to stay current on all new and used models.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork on a timely basis
  • Develop a strong team approach while working cohesively and recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate both English and Punjabi or Mandarin
  • Strong ability to close sales with minimal meetings
  • Diploma in marketing or related field would be considered an asset
  • Proven sales experience, automotive/RV industry would be considered an asset.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-confident and able to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Integrity, professionalism in mannerism and dress, motivation and a desire to excel.
  • Basic computer knowledge, and the ability to learn new softwares quickly.

Wage

  • 100% commission based role, sales draw available – and full benefits.

Job Purpose

  • This position is a casual position, and is designed to support the dealership during special events and vacations throughout the year. The Salesperson is responsible for all sales activities and duties from lead generation through to closing the sale. They will sell new and used units from various manufacturers. They will achieve sales goals, work with clients to understand their needs and meet their expectations and guide them towards the most appropriate product to complete the sale.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction by assisting customers with buying decisions; listen, ask questions, and follow up with all potential sales leads and going the extra mile to drive sales.
  • Help customers select the unit which best fits their needs and advise on towing requirements.
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used units.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss and sell other value-added options.
  • Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals.
  • Close the sales and write deals to present to sales manager.
  • Develop buyers by keeping good rapport with previous and new customers; also by suggesting trade-ins; respond to inquiries; follow up on completed sales and by recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Work cohesively with team of salespeople to ensure proper customer service.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • OMVIC Certified or willingness to achieve certification
  • Diploma in marketing or related field would be considered an asset
  • Proven sales skills and customer service success with a track record of over-achieving sales targets.
  • Understand all and may specialize in any of the RV categories including tent trailer, fifth wheels, trailers, and luxury diesel powered motorhomes.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills – a good listener and able to ask questions.
  • Self-confident and able to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Must be aggressive in selling but personable and possess a positive attitude.
  • Integrity, professionalism in mannerism and dress, motivation and a desire to excel.
  • Proficiency in English with good mathematical skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
  • High school completion, degree in Marketing or related field would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Recreational Vehicle market.

Job Purpose

  • The service writer is typically the first person to greet the customer who requires service. They must be able to listen to the customers concerns, be sympathetic to their needs and offer the necessary services to meet the customer’s needs. The primary responsibility of the service writer is to act as the liaison between the customer and the technician.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet and confer with all service customers – be the service department’s primary line of communication with customers.
  • Must be able to diagnose problems based on what the customer initially tells them and by asking the right questions.
  • Schedule service and repair appointments.
  • Inform customers of additional recommended or required services.
  • Create and input work orders into internal computer software.
  • Perform estimates for time and parts required for warranty or repair services.
  • Communicate issues with technicians
  • Forward service work to the Tech Supervisor.
  • Complete work order once service is complete including; customer signatures and payments
  • Collect payment for completed work, explain the service completed to the customer and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Superior customer service and communication skills, both in person and on the telephone, are essential to success in this position and in enhancing the customer experience.
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining interpersonal relations, both with customers and coworkers, ability to listen carefully and give precise instructions.
  • Ability to plan, organize, work in a busy environment and follow-up on daily tasks.
  • Can resolve problems and make decisions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals.

Job Purpose

  • The warranty administrator will manage, process and authorize warranty claims, based on the manufacturer’s/supplier’s criteria. They will review claims exceeding the time frames prescribed by the manufacturer/supplier or which are not processed in the regular manner. Works closely with the technicians on warranty repairs and provides internal personnel with information on all warranty matters.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes warranty claims, communicate with manufacturers and obtain manufacturer approval for each claim.
  • Collaborate with technicians to estimate repair hours and parts required.
  • Completes the documents required to process the claims, forwards them to the manufacturer/supplier and follows up.
  • Ensures that the amounts claimed correspond to the criteria of the manufacturer/supplier.
  • Identifies exceptional cases which may result in special agreements with the manufacturer/supplier; completes the required documents and follows up.
  • Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy and legibility according to the policies and procedures and makes sure to take the required photographs.
  • Coordinate with Parts department to ensure work is completed and all parts have been accounted for.
  • Follows up on claims, to obtain prompt payment.
  • Keeps up-to-date on all the manufacturer’s recalls and bulletins.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience processing warranty claims is considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing - must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a detailed work ethic.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Capable of working independently but also able to work cohesively with others.
  • Industry experience and basic RV technical knowledge are an asset.

Working Conditions

  • The Warranty Administrator typically works in an office environment within the warehouse of the facility, but may also be required in other departments of the business where proper protective equipment is required and must wear closed toed shoes.
  • This position may be required to sit at a desk and/or computer or use the telephone for long periods of time.
  • This position requires the use of office equipment such as computers, copiers, or faxes, which may cause eye strain and this office is located in a warehouse environment that may at times be noisy or dusty.
  • Must be able to lift and manage boxes or parts as necessary.
