Job Purpose

  • The Salesperson is responsible for all sales activities and duties from lead generation through to closing the sale. They will sell new and used units from various manufacturers. They will achieve sales goals, work with clients to understand their needs and meet their expectations and guide them towards the most appropriate product to complete the sale.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction by assisting customers with buying decisions; listen, ask questions, and follow up with all potential sales leads and going the extra mile to drive sales.
  • Help customers select the RV which best fits their needs and advise on towing requirements.
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used RVs.
  • Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals.
  • Continually prospect to build a data base of new and existing customers
  • Participate in ongoing product training to stay current on all new and used models.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork on a timely basis
  • Develop a strong team approach while working cohesively and recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate both English
  • Strong ability to close sales with minimal meetings
  • Diploma in marketing or related field would be considered an asset
  • Proven sales experience, automotive/RV industry would be considered an asset.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-confident and able to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Integrity, professionalism in mannerism and dress, motivation and a desire to excel.
  • Basic computer knowledge, and the ability to learn new softwares quickly.

Wage: 100% commission based role, sales draw available – and full benefits.

Job Purpose

  • The Diesel Mechanic will inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose repairs required on vehicles and recreational vehicles. They will maintain and repair vehicles scheduled for service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work on mechanical components, such as engines, transmissions, and drive belts. They also must be familiar with braking systems, transmission, air conditioning, and steering systems, which are controlled primarily by computers and electronic components.
  • Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly and identify mechanical problems which may require use of computerized and electronic devices for testing.
  • Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.
  • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings.
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts.
  • Use testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturers' specifications, and Internet websites to assist in locating faults and performing repairs and ordering components and to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective.
  • Communicate with supervisors, and manufacturers to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to move or assist moving units into service bays.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
  • A Journeyperson’s certificate/license is required.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of RV technical knowledge is an asset.
  • Propane Certification may also be required.
  • Able to use many different tools, including computerized diagnostic tools and power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding torches, and jacks and hoists; as well as many common hand tools, such as sockets and ratchets, wrenches, and pliers.
  • Mechanical, electrical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail oriented and good manual dexterity and balance.
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Good communication, organizational and learning skills.
  • The desire to upgrade and learn new skills as technology advances.
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member.


Working Conditions

 

  • The mechanic typically works in shop environment within the facility where proper protective equipment is required.
  • There is some risk of injury involved in working with power tools and near exhaust gases, although shop is well ventilated and well-lit. The shop can frequently be noisy or dirty.
  • May be required to lift and move heavy items, and must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, turn, stretch, kneel, crawl under trailers and work in uncomfortable positions.
  • Although vehicle problems often can be identified and fixed with computers, mechanics frequently work with greasy parts and tools.
  • May be challenged with a variety of tasks that are rarely repetitious in nature.
  • Some evening, weekend or holiday work, and overtime may be required.

Job Purpose

  • The Mechanic Apprentice will assist with inspection, repair, and maintenance of engines and associated machinery. They will maintain and repair vehicles scheduled for service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with inspection, repair, and maintenance of diesel engines and associated machinery.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance like cleaning, fueling, oil changes, and part replacement.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems, recording data.
  • Prepare workspaces and arrange equipment for use.
  • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs with general supervision
  • Complies with state provincial requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Communicate with supervisors, and manufacturers to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs.
