After Doug Ford’s announcement today about the re-opening of campgrounds this Saturday, we’ve received an increase in messages regarding the re-opening of our dealership. This announcement does not change that Sicard RV is operating at a limited capacity.
We want you to know that we are working hard to ensure that when we do re-open our dealership, it is a safe environment for both our customers and our employees, and that we are following all of the health guidelines set in place by the Ontario Government. We will have specific physical distancing guidelines set in place and will be operating with a limited amount of staff.
We have received an overwhelming amount of messages and we are asking for your patience. Please allow us approximately 48 to 72 hours to assess each individual request as they come in. We understand the anxiousness to get out and enjoy the outdoors in your RV and we are working diligently to make that happen for you as soon as we can.

We are committed to providing a safe environment for both our customers and our employees. Upon our re-opening, we wil be rolling out the following physical distancing measure to ensure we have a clean, safe and healthy environment.
- Limited number of customers within our building at one time
- One-way isles to ensure physical distancing
- Plexiglass panels at all of our customer service counters
- Hand sanitizing stations around our facility
- Floor markers to ensure physical distancing of 6 feet (2 meters) apart.
Social distancing will be practiced and encouraged throughout our dealership.

As promised, we have continued to keep our customers up-to-date as more information becomes available in regards to COVID-19.
As much as we hoped to re-open next week, we recently learned that the provincial mandatory closures have been extended. This means Sicard RV will be closed until further notice.
The health and wellness of our customers and staff are at the forefront of importance to us and we will re-open our doors when we are directed to do so by Ontario Government officials.

UPDATE: As of March 30, 2020
Our anticipated date to re-open the dealership was Monday April 6th. However, due to the guidelines set by Doug Ford; all non-essential businesses are required to close for 14 days.
This has updated our anticipated re-opening date to Wednesday April 8th.

Over the last few weeks, we have been closely monitoring the evolving events surrounding COVID-19 and working to ensure that we are keeping the safety and interests of both our employees and our customers at the heart of every decision we make.
That is why, we have made the difficult decision to close the dealership effective Monday March 23 with plans to re-open on April 6.
