Campfire Mac 'N Cheese

  • 25-30 minutes


  • 1 disposable aluminum pie pan


  • 1/2 cup cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Begin by combining all the ingredients in the aluminum pan.
  • Cover the container with tin foil so the heat doesn't escape.
  • Place the pan over the campfire where it will sit flat.
  • Cooking time will vary depending on your campfire, coals, and distance from it.
    • (An alternative option could be cooking on a grill in a barbecue.)
  • Remove from the fire and stir.


Careful with the pie pan, it will be hot! Then it is time to enjoy your campfire mac-and-cheese!
