For Servicing Recreational Vehicles

We are currently looking for individuals to service our Recreational Vehicles.

You must have an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, be a team player, and have a technical interest.

The successful candidate will:

  • Prepare units for delivery
  • Install options and accessories
  • Diagnose and repair recreational vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space
  • Have a high attention to detail; able to speak, read, write and understand English; have good hand-eye coordination; and able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs
  • May be required to move or assist moving units into service bays

Previous experience and knowledge of RV's or RV repair and any related certifications (gas license, RV1 or RV2, Red Seal) preferred.

Individuals must provide own tools and have steel-toed safety footwear.

Public transportation is not available, a valid driver’s license and own transportation is necessary.

 

Job Type:

Permanent Full Time (36-48 hours per week) shifts include days and weekends. 

Overtime may be required.

 

Salary:

$15 to $25 per hour, plus benefits.

RV Sales Professional

Sicard RV is looking to hire a Bilingual RV Sales Professional. We offer a great benefits package and a great atmosphere that makes coming into work exciting! You must have an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, Ambitious, and have a recreational interest.

This position has great earning potential if you have what it takes! Earn as much as you want! The Salesperson is responsible for all sales activities and duties. They will achieve sales goals, work with clients to understand their needs and meet their expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction by assisting customers with buying decisions by listening, asking questions, and following up with all potential sales leads and going the extra mile to drive sales.
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used units.
  • Prepare preliminarily used vehicle appraisals.
    A salesperson should understand all and may specialize in any of the RV categories.
  • Develop buyers by keeping good rapport with previous and new customers
  • Work cohesively with a team of salespeople to ensure proper customer service.
    Follow all company policies and procedures
    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven sales skills and customer service success with a track record of over-achieving sales targets.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-confident and able to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Must be aggressive in selling but personable and possess a positive attitude.
  • Integrity, professionalism in mannerism and dress, motivation and a desire to excel.
  • Proficiency in English with good mathematical skills and basic computer knowledge.

The Demonstrator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service when performing the final walk through with the purchaser. They check to ensure the unit is neat and clean both inside and out before presenting it to the customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take the purchaser on a final tour of RV or Trailer by demonstrating use of all equipment and components
  • Go through the inspection checklist with the purchaser.
  • Works closely with the Delivery, Service and Sales teams to ensure units are prepared for final delivery.
  • Ensure all paperwork has been completed.
  • Provide assistance to the sales or service team as required.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills - ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing - must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in English.
  • Must be approachable and have a pleasant personality.
  • A good listener and able to answer the customer’s questions and concerns.
  • Technical knowledge, basic shop skills and/or service background.
  • Good general health and physical ability - manual dexterity and bodily coordination to be able to demonstrate functions of the units.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • High school education is an asset but not required.

Parts Representative

The primary responsibility of the parts representative is to assist the customer in-store, on the phone or through email inquiry. They must be able to listen to the customer's concerns and use their knowledge to provide the customer with the necessary parts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in retail customer purchases.
  • Knowledge of the location of all parts and some knowledge of uses and installation techniques.
  • Receive parts, organize, clean and maintain store area and showroom.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and timely processing of parts orders and by checking parts availability, give estimates and write work orders.
  • Verify prices and enter orders into the computer.
  • Analyze customer requests for parts; provide parts information and prices from service manuals, reference materials, and computer.
  • Ability to provide substitute parts information for obsolete/upgraded parts based on experience and outstanding orders.
  • Responsible for following up on back orders by checking with other parts personnel and sources to determine the status of orders and provide answers to customers.
  • Establish a good relationship with distributors, dealers, service centers and consumers in order to notify them of parts availability and shipment dates determined by tracking orders and/or invoices through the computer system.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Superior customer service and communication skills on the telephone and in person are essential to success in this position and in enhancing the customer experience.
  • High school education with basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, work in a busy environment and follow-up on daily tasks.
